Detection
After developing and drying, the plate is immersed in anisaldehyde reagent (0.5 mL anisaldehyde, 10 mL acetic acid, 85 mL methanol, 5 mL sulfuric acid) and then heatened at 100 °C (oven, heating plate)
Note
The spots on ALUGRAM Xtra Nano-SIL G UV254 are more focused and the migration distance decreases compared to ALUGRAM Xtra SIL G/UV254.
