  • Uracil: 20 mg/1 mL water
  • 2,7-Dihydroxynaphthalene: 10 mg/1 mL water
  • 2,3-Dihydroxynaphthalene: 10 mg/1 mL water
  • Ethyl benzoate: 10 mg/1 mL water
  • Lidocaine: 50 mg/1 mL water
  • Naphthalene: 10 mg/1 mL water
  • Biphenyl: 10 mg/1mL water
  • Acenaphthne: 10 mg/1 mL water

For a good solubility an ultra sonic bath is recommendable!

*Sample solution

  • Mix the stock solution with the following parts.
  • Uracil: 10 µL
  • 2,7-Dihydroxynaphthalene: 20 µL
  • 2,3-Dihydroxynaphthalene: 20 µL
  • Ethyl benzoate: 80 µL
  • Lidocaine: 100 µL
  • Naphthalene: 100 µL
  • Biphenyl: 20 µL
  • Acenaphthene: 100 µL

The mixture was diluted to 4 mL with water

Conditions
  • Eluent: 25 mmol/L ammonium dihydrogenphosphate solution, pH 7 - methanol (35:65, v/v)
  • Flow rate: 0.66 mL/min
  • Temperature: 40 °C
  • Injection volume: 5 µL
Detection
UV, 254 nm
Note
NUCLEOSHELL Bluebird RP 18 shows a complete separation of lidocaine / naphthalene and additionally better peak shapes for all analytes compared to Kinetex Polar C18.
