NUCLEODUR C18 HTec

760315.30

Matrix
Sample(s)

each compound 1 mg/mL in eluent

Conditions

Eluent : methanol - 25 mmol/L KH2PO4, pH 7.0 (70:30, v/v) Flow rate: 0.66 mL/min Temperature: 30 °C Injection volume: 1.0 µL

Detection
UV, 254 nm
Note
NUCLEODUR PolarTec shows clearly more symmetrical peaks and shorter retention times for strongly basic components as opposed to NUCLEODUR C18 HTec. This phenomenon is based on the shielding mechanism of the embedded polar Group of NUCLEODUR PolarTec. Due to the polar group, the interaction between the analyte and the free silanol groups is prevented. .
