Two-column switching technique: The system uses two columns (CN and C18) arranged in series, via a valve which allows the effluent to be switched from the primary column to the secondary column or directly to the detector. Eluent A: acetonitrile Eluent B: 0.05 mol/L KH2PO4 buffer, pH 5.9 Gradient: see above chromatogram Flow rate: 0.9 mL/min

- The author had originally used columns packed with classical NUCLEOSIL phases (no part of the standard product range). We recommend the same mofifications based on modern NUCLEODUR silica. Under circumstances, this has to be considered with regard to the chromatographic conditions (e.g. flow rate).
